To commemorate Frappuccino’s 20th anniversary, Starbucks offered a limited-time Birthday Cake Frappuccino® blended beverage ($5) – a vanilla bean and hazelnut, topped with raspberry-infused whipped cream – at Starbucks stores from March 26-30.
Hey, you gotta get your sweets on every once in a while, no matter how bad they are for you, like Frappuccino at Starbucks (according to some health nut or nutritionists out there), especially when they are offering something that is only there for a short time.
I gotta say, I absolutely LOVED the raspberry-infused whipped cream! It looked cute, and tasted sweet and the berry taste was certainly there. I also love vanilla bean anything, so this drink really hit the spot. Now, I will assure you, I did NOT drink this alone, I shared it with my husband so it is only half as bad to my healthy body…right? Another fun thing they did was, the barista wrote “Happy 🙂 “ on the plastic cup, instead of the usual alphabet abbreviation of your drink, which was just super cute. It did make me smile when I got it.
No, it is not something I want to have all the time, and no one really should have so much sugar and whatever else in the Frappuccino often, but when you have it every once in a while, it is not so bad. Just make sure you have nice long walk afterwards!
I like the bear in the photo. Raspberry whip creams sound amazing.
