Udderly Delicious Ice Cream Shop

Beautiful hot Summer day and cold ice cream go together so perfectly like peanut butter and jelly. While visiting Lincoln NH, we tried out one of their ice cream spots for a little afternoon sweets.

They had an impressive pink banner right outside indicating so many flavors of soft serve that they offer. Intrigued… I don’t think I have ever been to an ice cream spot that offers this many flavors of soft serve…

They had small outdoor seating leading up to the main entrance. They only had maybe total of eight or so seating here, but they also had more seating on the ground level.

The inside was a good size, most of the time we were there, they had several people in line. I got to take these photo when there was a brief moment of break in between the crowds of people. They had menu on walls everywhere, for both scoop and soft serve. The ordering counter is all the way at the back, and you also pick up your ice cream around there. All the way to the right is “make your own sundae” section, which was pretty cool. Across from there is a small counter seating area facing the window.

They do have more seating on the left half of the space. And they are dedicated to dairy cow. They had cows everywhere. On the walls, on the shelves, even on a trash can. The floor tiles were done in black and white to keep up with the theme.

The chairs had dairy cow design on it, and they even had cow booties!!! I tell you, dedication… It was fun atmosphere for sure.

They had a coffee section at the back of the seating area with paper cups and Keurig machine. I feel like it is kind of strange combination to have hot coffee with ice cream… but hey, whatever a customers desire, gotta keep them happy!

We decided to get two scoops in a cup ($2.50) for each of us. For the first one, we chose Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip and Banana Oreo. And it was pretty darn tasty. The black raspberry had really nice flavor, and good amount of chocolate chip chunks. Banana one had sweet aroma of banana, and went great with Oreo. I felt like it could’ve had a bit more Oreo chunks but it was still a good enough amount to taste it. I really enjoyed this one.

For the second one, we chose Pretzelogic and Peppermint Stick. Pretzelogic is made with vanilla ice cream with a caramel swirl and chocolate covered pretzels. The pretzels were crushed into nice small pieces, not too big, not too small. The caramel swirl was a really nice touch. The Peppermint Stick had strong flavor, there was no doubt it was what it was. My hubby who loves mint really loved it.

Unfortunately, the staffs were not very friendly or welcoming, but they were not rude, just cold. Well, they are serving a cold dessert… Maybe the coldness soaked into their body? Anyways, the quality and flavor of the ice cream made up for it.

They make their ice cream at their other location, Coneheads Ice Cream located just over a mile away from each other. This allows them to have freshly made ice cream with so many interesting and creative flavors. Nicely done! They both offer the same flavors what I can see, so go visit whichever is more convenient for you when you get the craving for sweet little delights!
