HARBS Chelsea #2

I’ve been to HARBS on 3rd avenue, and HARBS in Chelsea. I am a fan of the Chelsea location more, since their menu seems to be bigger than other locations. We had such nice brunch there, we decided to go back for more.

We went there during their “Lunch Set” menu period, so some of us got sandwich set, while others got pasta set. I’ve had their amazing Omelet Sandwich, but this time, I got to see what their B.L.T. ($22/set) looks like. It had really thick, fresh bacon pieces that were draping over the toasts. High quality, tasty, awesome bacon! The bread was as fluffy as ever, toasted with care, and veggies were very fresh too. Nicely done!

My hubby who loved their Pescatora the last visit decided to have that again. I wanted to try something new, so I went with Chicken & Mushroom Pasta ($25/Lunch Set), made with cream, chicken, mushroom, butter, and parmigiano. It was very creamy, with a nice amount of plump mushroom and chicken. Very comforting flavor.

For the lunch set cake slice, two of us went with their popular Mille Crepe. It is made with six layers of thin crepes, filled with fresh fruits and mixed cream. It was as great as always. I could have it every day…

I chose Marron Cake, made with layers of white sponge, chestnut and sweet potato cream, and crushed chestnut with a hint of Rum. This one, again, as good as always. They really know how to make amazing, delicious, delightful cakes!!!

The service was polite and courteous, we had a nice, relaxing brunch here. I still haveb’t tried everything on their menu, I would like to have them all! And even if I do get to try everything on their menu, I am sure we will return again and again…
