While traveling for business, I have been trying to find a healthy spot to get some green juice/smoothie. Right near the Hynes Convention Center, I found this great wellness-focused spot. They offer juice, smoothie, soup, bowl, and snack made with whole food, plant-based ingredients. They only had few seats by the window, as they are more of takeout food spot.

When I entered, the owner, Heather was there. She was SUPER nice and welcoming! She explained everything including what’s popular, how they make everything in-house, including their sauces, soups, etc. I ordered D’Boom Smoothie ($10.98/large), which was one of their most popular smoothie. It is made with mango, banana, date, kale, spinach, mint, and let’s not forget, love. It actually said that on their menu. How sweet! It also described the benefits you get out of this smoothie; Energy, aids digestion, anti inflammatory, skin. It contains all sorts of nutrients too, as you can imagine. It was quite tasty, more sweet than anything from all the fruits, very filling and satisfying. I felt great, this smoothie is really great for your body and soul!

It was a quite chilly day, so I wanted more than a cold smoothie. As I mentioned, they offer homemade soups! I ordered Creamy Tomato Basil Soup as a side order. The great thing about their “size” of the soup is that they have Large, Small, and then Side (or extra small). Since I was getting a large smoothie, I appreciated the extra small size. I ordered the Side of soup ($5/side). The soup was oh-so-tomato-y with elegant basil flavor that followed after. Soothes your body and soul!!! So good, smooth and creamy, but so satisfying!

Naturally, I went back the next day for more. This time, I got The Smoothie ($8.18/small). Their large size was really large, and super filling, so I decided to get small size. This one is made with strawberry, pineapple, spinach, kale, orange juice, and yup, love. It is loaded with nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. It was very citrusy, I could really taste the orange, which was the most powerful flavor in the smoothie. More “liquid-y” the the D’Boom smoothie in my opinion. Super refreshing!

And I didn’t forget the soup. I asked about their Daily Special Soup, and it was explained to me as kind of a Shepard’s Pie soup. It was interesting so I ordered a Side of the soup ($5/side). It had peas, carrots, celery, small pieces of potatoes etc. Interesting to have pieces of potatoes instead of mashed potatoes, when thinking of Shepard’s Pie. And since this is a vegan spot, no meat. Instead, it had loads of lentils. Very hearty and filling. Very comforting cup of soup for sure!

I also purchased a snack for later, Date Truffles ($9.95). It comes in two, one coconut coated, and another cocoa powder coated. They indicated lots of benefits of dates, including energy, digestive aid, anti-inflammatory, and loads of nutrients. They were perfect little sweet snacks.

This spot certainly was a hit, I loved their smoothies and soups. My body was thanking me for feeding the healthy, all-so-good-for-you food and drinks. If I can eat like that every day, I am sure I will be much more healthy. But then again, I love to eat all sorts of different food… So I do try to be kind to my body when I can! If you body needs a little break from the rich food, give this spot a try! And just a note, on a chilly day, their soups sell out quickly so don’t wait too long to go get some!
