Mike & Patty’s #2

I have visited Mike and Patty’s this past Summer (you can read about it here: https://www.foodlovergirl.com/mike-pattys/), and I fell in love with their sandwich. Now that I was back in Boston, I went back for more!

This time, I finally got to taste their Impossible Burger! They have Mushroom Swiss Impossible Burger ($13). It is made with gruyere, swiss, sliced onion, roasted mushrooms, lettuce and house mayo on a seeded roll. There was an option to add an egg (additional $1.50), and since we were having it as a breakfast, we added the egg.

It was a nice size burger, with fluffy buns and fresh veggies. The patty was rather thin, but still packed with flavor. It tasted like a meat patty, which was really cool, as the patty is made with plant-based ingredients only. It was hearty and filling, tasty and satisfying!

We also got one of their sandwiches, Breakfast Grilled Crack ($9). This one is made with fried egg, 2x bacon, American, cheddar, swiss and gruyere on buttered Iggy’s sourdough bread. After one bite, the name of the sandwich makes total sense. It is like a grilled cheese on crack, and totally addictive! Sooo good! It basically have cheese, egg and bacon in it, but it was so tasty!

So, I am happy to report, my second visit to Mike & Patty’s was a success! I was happy and full, my tummy was thanking me. I am glad I got to taste two more of their offerings. I need to keep going back there until I try them all!
